Chimney repair and installation in Catalonia: no fine print
We repair seals, seal cracks, replace components and carry out new installations. No subcontractors. What we agree is what you pay.
When a chimney fails, there are two options: patch it up or repair it properly. We only do the latter. We use materials specifically designed for high temperatures, original spare parts and no subcontractors — the technician who carries out the inspection is the same person who performs the repair.
Repairs we carry out
We repair what others cannot or do not want to touch.
Seals and gaskets
The seals on a fireplace, cassette or stove door deteriorate with use. A damaged seal lets cold air in and can allow smoke to escape.
Cracks in the flue
A crack in the inner lining can allow combustion gases to pass through. We detect it with a camera and seal it using high-temperature materials.
Glass replacement
Heat-resistant glass has a limited service life. If it is cracked or permanently marked, we replace it with original glass from the manufacturer.
Chimney outlets
The exterior chimney outlet deteriorates due to rain and ice. A damaged outlet can let water into the flue and make it easier for animals to enter.
Pellet stove burner
The component that wears the most in pellet stoves. We diagnose the problem, provide a quote and replace it with an original spare part from the manufacturer.
New installations
Installation of cassettes and inserts, pellet stoves, chimney terminals and adaptation of existing flues to current regulations.
How we handle a repair
No diagnostic fee if followed by a repair
Tell us about the problem and we will come out to inspect it. If the diagnosis is followed by a repair, the cost of the visit is included in the quote.
Quote before we start
We explain what the problem is and how much it would cost to repair. No obligation. If you do not accept the quote, we do nothing.
Repair during the same visit whenever possible
We come prepared to complete most repairs during the same visit. We carry the most commonly needed materials and spare parts.
Verification and work documentation
When we finish, we check that the installation is working correctly and provide documentation of the work carried out.

How much does it cost?
The price of a repair depends on the type of fault and the materials required. Minor repairs (seals, localised sealing work) are usually between 60 and 120 euros. More complex repairs or component replacements are quoted individually. Always a fixed price before we start.

Frequently asked questions about repairs
Do you charge for the diagnostic visit?
If the diagnosis is followed by a repair, the cost of the visit is included in the total price. If you only want a diagnosis without a repair, we will tell you the cost before we come out.
Do you use original spare parts?
Always for critical components. We do not use generic spare parts for burners, heat-resistant glass or high-temperature seals. The quality of the replacement part directly affects safety and durability.
How long does a repair take?
Most common repairs (seals, glass, sealing work) are completed during the same visit, in 1-2 hours. More complex repairs or those requiring specific materials may need a second visit.
Do you carry out new installations as well as repairs?
